The return of conductor Leonard Slatkin to the New York Philharmonic.

Leonard Slatkin returns to Avery Fisher Hall October 30th through November 1st to conduct the New York Premiere of Composer-in-Residence Christopher Rouse’s Flute Concerto, with Principal Flute Robert Langevin as soloist. The program will also in include Copland’s “El Salón México,” Ravel’s “Boléro,” and “Gaspard de la nuit.”
