Later this month the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will celebrate the centennial of Ella Fitzgerald, whose influence defines a classic era of jazz singing. From April 27th to the 29th veteran vocalists Kenny Washington and Roberta Gambarini will be joining the Orchestra for a series of concerts titled “Celebrating Ella: The First Lady of Jazz.”
