This Week at Lincoln Center: Honoring Joe Temperley

Jazz at Lincoln Center honors Joe Temperley through a series of concerts in April and May.

At the Rose Theatre, from April 16th to April 18th, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will perform a three-movement concerto composed by Marsalis and titled “Celebrating Joe Temperley: From Duke to The JLCO.” And starting on May 1st, Temperley will join fellow saxophone-giant Wessell “Warmdaddy” Anderson at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola for three nights of intimate performances
