This Week at Lincoln Center: Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Brazil

Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Brazilian Festival will highlight music from Pernambuco state.

The Brazilian Festival will take place in Frederick P. Rose Hall on October 24th and 25th. The SpokFrevo Orquestra, led by saxophonist Inaldo Cavalcante de Albuquerque, will make its Jazz at Lincoln Center debut, with special guests Melissa Aldana and Wycliffe Gordon. Percussionist Cyro Baptista will perform the music of Moacir Santos, with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and Wynton Marsalis.
