This Week at Lincoln Center: “La Donna del Lago” at The Metropolitan Opera.
The Metropolitan Opera’s production of Gioachino Rossini’s bel canto tour-de-force “La Donna del Lago” is conducted by Italian maestro Michele Mariotti. Its virtuoso cast is led by Joyce DiDonato as Elena, the titular lady of the lake, and Juan Diego Flórez as James V, the king who falls in love with her. “La Donna del Lago” will be performed on selected days through March 14th.
