A new production of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin kicks off the new season at the Metropolitan Opera, starring Anna Netrebko, Mariusz Kwiecien and Piotr Beczala. This season at the Met features six new productions, including a Met premiere, and 20 revivals. Among them: Mozart’s “Così fan tutte,” Bellini’s “Norma,” and Shostakovich’s “The Nose.”
