This Week at Lincoln Center: “Preludes”

“Preludes” at LCT: a musical fantasia set in the mind of composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.

“Preludes” focuses on the life of young composer Sergei Rachmaninoff. He suffers from writer’s block as a reaction to the disastrous premiere of his first symphony and is undergoing daily sessions with a hypnotist in order to overcome his depression. The show runs through July 19th and is part of LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater’s initiative focusing on new work by young and emerging writers.
