Celebrating the 40th anniversary of his New York Philharmonic debut, Sir Andrew Davis will conduct the U.S. Premiere of Julian Anderson’s “The Discovery of Heaven,” Franck’s “Symphonic Variations for Piano and Orchestra,” with Marc-André Hamelin as soloist, and selections from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suites No’s. 1 and 2.
