This Week at Lincoln Center: “White Light Festival” and “Two Boys”

The first week of the “White Light Festival” includes the U.S. premiere of “Up-close” from Dutch composer and filmmaker Michel van der Aa, featuring the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, with soloist Kaori Yamagami. “Two Boys” is the first large scale opera by Nico Muhly, the youngest composer ever commissioned by the Met. It explores identity and desire in the shadowy world of the internet.
