On Thursday, President Obama and President-elect Donald Trump met at the White House to begin the transition between administrations. Each the object of one another’s scorn just a few days before, the president said he was “encouraged” by the discussion and the president-elect said he looks forward to future collaboration with Mr. Obama and his team.
