Obama: Mandela's legacy of South African renewal is an example to the world

Reacting to the death of Nelson Mandela, President Barack Obama said he was inspired by the writings and "fierce dignity" of the iconic South African leader. Obama encouraged others to follow the example of the man who "bent the arc of the moral universe towards justice" in his journey from prisoner to president.
