#### Congressman John Yarmuth, the House Budget Committee chairman and the only Democrat in Kentucky's U.S. Congressional delegation, says he will not run again in 20-22.
Yarmuth has served eight terms.
He was first elected in 20-06.
#### Immediately after Yarmuth's announcement, State Senator Morgan McGarvey, the Senate Minority Floor Leader, announced he would run for Yarmuth's seat.
State Representative Attica Scott is already seeking the Democratic nomination.
