We discuss the Tucson City Council elections & raising money for a Jan. 8, 2011 memorial.
The Tucson City Council is made up of six members who serve four-year terms. Half of the council is up for election this year, and the others will be on the 2019 ballot. One of the seats up for grabs this year is held by Democrat Richard Fimbres, who doesn’t face a challenger. That leaves just two contested races in this election: Ward 3 and Ward 6; And raising money for a Jan. 8, 2011 memorial.
