On the season premiere of Northwest Profiles – we make a special visit to the Hutton Settlement in Spokane Valley. Opened as an alternative to an orphanage in November 1919, it was built by an orphan who struck it rich in Idaho’s Silver Valley. A celebration of the rich lives it helped create is underway this centennial year.
