Official Dedication of Vermont PBS - Governor Hoff's Proclamation | May 17th, 1968

In May of 1968 Vermont PBS (then known as Vermont Educational Television) broadcast a special program from our newly built studio. The program included this clip of former Vermont Governor Philip Hoff's proclamation for the new network, which was filmed in the office of Lyman S. Rowell, then president of UVM. Vermont ETV was part of the University until 1990, when the station became independent.
