But. So the whole story of the movie hook burying Peter, he forgot he was Peter Pan and grew up and became a lawyer. And he even is afraid of heights. Anyway, so we forgot we wanted to be musicians. And now we go to Neverland. When we down, in Bangor and Peter tonight, we have. Ethan is on the drums, my lover, the drummer, and then Jesse Blue. He's on the bass. He's our Peter Pan, and, he's my best friend. He's incredible. Most of the guitars you'll see tonight, he made. And then, I got, Orlando de Silva on lead guitar. He's an incredible Puerto Rican from England. I can't wait for you to hear him. He really brings the songs more rocking. And then my handsome, talented son, Silas Rich, he's on the keys singing backup with me. Kind of put this show together. It was hard because as a band, we have about six, seven hours of originals, mainly every where we play. I mean, bamboo wellies, purple period tiki bar. They've been really receptive. We got a pretty good following. So we play mainly originals, but I'd throw in, you know, Janis Joplin and Sam Sam Cooke and Sublime, but mainly all originals. I love Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Sam Cooke. But as an adult, I've been really inspired mainly by a lot of local musicians. But there's a lot of places around here that do, original music. And, I don't know if you heard about shredding the shed, but that's how I found a lot of local musicians and Elijah Stevenson, Ed Adams, these are incredible musicians that are around here. Otherwise, his name are.
But Cletus Bean and, I've been really inspired by local talent that it's cool to watch. It's good to hear, and it makes me want to write more when I. Oh, no, it's kind of like water. I need water to drink all day. If I don't, I'm thirsty. And if I don't play music, I'm just not. I'm just not mentally okay. Really, it's a good way for me to get out of my head and.
And, I don't know, like, breathe in. Yeah. The music, my children are music is so cool. I get to jam with my kids. It's just been something I've done my whole life. And when I didn't do it, it was when there's a weird world, usually when I'm writing a song, it's something that hits me in my head and then I gotta figure it out on the guitar. But sometimes lately, a lot of the songs tonight on on studio amp, I wrote with my band because we just be at an open mic jamming and they'd get something going, and then I just write lyrics and then a couple of songs we wrote on stage and a couple of gigs just, just write mood, write people, and you can write some good stuff. I think my guys are really ready to be on the festival tour. We just played our first festival Saturday, and, I think they're ready to go on tour. I'd like for them to be able to quit their day jobs and just just do music. I've been lucky. I've been doing music full time now for almost three years, but, I'm ready for them to be able to go. And I'd love to go to Europe. I want to get back there. I grew up in Crete, so I gotta show my guys where I'm from. And the main thing is getting followers, because a lot of emails, they say, well, how many followers do you have? And they'll look us up and they'll see how many followers on Instagram and Facebook and how many people are listening to Spotify. And if they think they could make, you know, money, then they'll put us out there. So it takes a lot. If you really like somebody to go and follow them, at least on their websites, you know, and it'll help us book bigger gigs. Thank Peter can be found on all platforms. Spotify, Apple Music. We have an album out that we, we recorded in Muscle Shoals and it's called Eat This. We also have some albums for sale. You can find at all our shows when we're out and about. Thank you for having us. Thank you so much. I can't wait to get up there and play with, my best friends and my and my son. So I'm very blessed today. And, thank you very.
