(light upbeat music) - Ogden Nature Center's holiday open house will feature a fresh evergreen swag sale and a local artisan market.

Communications Director Brandi Bosworth is here with details.

Hi, Brandi.

So you've moved up the time of your big market?

- Yes.

And it's really to accommodate.

It's on Shop Small, Shop Local Saturday, and you couldn't shop more small or more local than our beautiful holiday open house.

And it's to accommodate our fresh evergreen swags.

We want those in people's homes and on their doors before December hits.

And so that's why we changed it to that Saturday, November 30th.

- Okay, and what is an evergreen swag?

- So it's sort of like a wreath, but it's just like a big bundle of the freshest, the most beautiful evergreens.

We bring them in from all over.

But they smell so good.

And then we do 'em up with beautiful big bows and decorations, and really it's like, I like to say it's our A Team of volunteers that create these, and they are beautiful.

- Wonderful, wonderful.

And then you've also got an artisan market with 15 different artists?

- We do.

And these also, I like to say they're like quality crafters.

For example, one would be The Beehive Weaver.

She hand weaves these gorgeous tea towel dish towels.

They are just beautiful.

They're wonderful to use and they make great gifts.

- All right.

I'm sure you've got a lot of things going on, like refreshments and gift wrapping?

- Refreshments.

We have a kids' craft.

There's free admission all day.

So it's just a lovely day to even be at the Nature Center.

But then I cannot...

I have to mention the gift shop.

Our gift shop is like one of Utah's best kept secrets.

It is hands down gorgeous, stunning.

And the products that we bring in unique every year for the holidays is really special.

So it's a great place to shop.
