Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship♪ Cheery music ♪ Earth Week is an exciting time for Frost River.
You know, we're making sustainable business decisions every day.
But Earth Week is kind of a time where we get to share them with the public and talk about what we've got going on.
♪ Cheery music ♪ So specifically, one of our larger projects that we have happening is we are adding a secondary system to our current solar panel installation that we have on the roof.
The first phase of our solar panel installation happened in the summer of 2021.
So we're looking at a little over 90 panels up there and on average it's generating 28.8 kilowatts, I want to say.
We're hitting the goals that we wanted to, but we wanted to build this secondary system to increase that window.
So what it's going to look like is behind me, we're going to mount 29 panels on the back face and then on the side of the building over here, we hope to add an additional ten.
So we're looking at an additional 39 panels that we'll be adding into our system.
This is going to help us generate 50% more energy than we currently are able to.
♪ Cheery music ♪ I don't know where else we could put panels on this sucker, but it's pretty cool to get where we are yeah.
