love heading to downtown to taken the incredible musicians who come to our city during the weekend.

now, another festival going on at the same time with fantastic live music is arts beats and eats in royal oak.

perhaps our viewers can, you know, bop around to the different festivals.

and in the making of music weekend, dave, i think you might be onto something.

sydney is one of those iconic detroit artist whose work can be seen in many places.

>> including the murals down in the easter market.

yes, i've seen sydney's work in the stern mark and it's beautiful.

and it also makes a great statement.

then if you're one of our viewers who heads up north for the labor day weekend and maybe you want to get in some exercise while gazing out on the straits of mackinaw.

well, the mackinaw bridge will be closed to car traffic for its annual labored a walk.

people can start walking from either end of the bridge between seven and eleven, thirty a m. >> so many ways to enjoy the end of summer.
