June 21, 2014 is the start of summer…. and the longest day of the year. What better day to celebrate the tallest animals on earth with the first annual World Giraffe Day. Several species of giraffe are in danger of extinction...so it’s important to care about and appreciate these graceful animals. The Central Florida Zoo in Sanford houses two newly arrived giraffes…so we went there to meet them.
