Three special World War 2 veterans were honored recently at the Orlando Science Center at the groundbreaking of a new monument to celebrate the Tuskegee airmen the first all African American military airmen. They had to overcome racial discrimination and segregation of the 1940s just to be able to join the Army Air Forces, and they are this month’s “Ones to Know.”
