- I love that Duluth it seems to be like the birth of so much opportunity, especially for a non-profit.
And when there's like an injustice done you hear the community, you hear the hurt and the pain that is caused.
And I remember the first weekend that Duluth, when we had the George Floyd-protest and the injustice there, the murder of George Floyd, when I was at work I wasn't able to participate in the protest because I was up at the shelter, but I was able to hear it.
And I was just like, so in awe that I was able to hear where I was working and I could hear them from the downtown chanting, "No justice, no peace."
And that's what I love about Duluth is that we have that space to be able to do that and to demand change.
