As Republicans take over the U.S. Senate, questions persist about political gridlock.

The Republican wave of victories in the 2014 mid-term elections was marked by a GOP takeover of the U.S. Senate. Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe and Senator-Elect James Lankford will be part of a Republican majority seeking to undo changes that have taken place over the past six years of the Obama presidency, while some analysts are predicting more political gridlock.
