Halt to State Income Tax Cut

House Democrats propose a halt to the state income tax cut approved last year.

The House Democratic Caucus met Tuesday to review state budget cuts and to announce plans to propose a halt to the state income tax cut approved last year. Democrats say the cuts will amount to an average of about $40 a year for Oklahomans and call the move "irresponsible and fiscally immoral" considering many state agencies are recieving budget cuts.
