A sole county in Oklahoma does not have its oil and natural gas operations regulated by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. Mineral rights in Osage county are held in trust for the Osage Nation. That means drilling oversight falls to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, but many landowners don't feel the agency is doing it's job to protect the land.
