Medical professionals in Tulsa have come together to launch a new program called “Reach Out and Read”. Their goal is to stress the importance of reading in early childhood. Participating doctors discuss reading with parents and even give out books. Doctors want to “Reach Out and Read” by talking about the importance of reading to kids.
