Tulsa Police and the City Council team up in an effort to reach out to students.

The Tulsa Police Department and the Tulsa City Council have teamed up in an effort to reach out to young students in the community. Each week the department sends out uniformed officers to sit and read with students. The idea is to show kids that the police are not someone to be afraid of but someone who can help them.
