Futuristic cars using an alternate fuel source made a stop in Oklahoma. Eight cars powered entirely by solar-cells rolled into Norman, the first stop on a cross country American Solar Challenge road race. The event which takes place every two years is designed to encourage engineering innovation. This year’s race kicked off in Austin, ending 1,700 miles later in Minneapolis.
