State officials begin 100 million dollar initiative to improve railroad crossing safety.

State officials have launched a 100 million dollar initiative to improve railroad crossing safety. About two-thirds of Oklahoma's more than 3,700 railroad crossings lack flashing lights or crossing arms to alert motorists when a train is coming. Last year 8 people were killed at 13 injured at railroad crossings in Oklahoma.
