So in my place, my home, there was always music and art.
I was listening to everything, you know, to all the classics.
And I listened also to Brazilian music and I listened to the radio and whatever was playing in it.
So when Beatles came, every new album would change your life completely.
That was the greatest thing that happened to me.
I mean, the luckiest thing, I had the stairs of the development of Beatles.
And that was outrageous.
You know, every new album.
I remember when "Revolver" was out, Jesus Christ.
And I heard "Tomorrow Never Knows."
And I still think, well, if I try to emulate that thing, forget it.
With all the Cubases and all the VSTs and all the stuff that you have, I'm not able to do it because it is like something from out of the world.

So I would play on guitar with a pick, not fingers.
That's hard.
Or for example, the ballet part of the "Aida," which is very fast, very hard.
And so that I was always looking for challenges.
By chance, you know, like Hafael invited me to come over and see, okay, let's see what this guy's got.
I entered the band and I became the soloist.
I would say that music has no age.
So if you do it, you do right, you know, they was...
They had a lot of respect for us because we were .

* good.
I played the guitar in a way that nobody did there because, I don't know why, I born with the gift.
And I wouldn't say it was easy, it was hard.
I had to learn, you know, note by note.
But it was my life, and it is still.
.

*, I'm 72 now.
(chuckles) I started when I was, what, 12?
That's, what, 60 years?
- 60 years, yeah.
- It's a long time.
Well, a long time ago, you know, music has no age.
