Take me out to the ballgame. Mainers love baseball and what better place to take in a game than Hadlock Field, home of the beloved Portland Sea Dogs, lead by its fearless mascot Slugger! The Sea Dogs began as a Florida Marlins farm team in 1994 and became affiliated with the Boston Red Sox in 2003. Several current big leaguers have called Portland home on their way to The Show.
