A Swiss immigrant, Hermann Jaeger resided near Neosho Missouri in the late 1800s. He was a businessman and a vintner who helped save the European vineyards from potential destruction in the late 19th century. His work and knowledge of growing grapes helped to overcome the Phylloxera invasion. Bethany Walker, Laszlo Kovacs, and Gabriele Di Gaspero inform us about Hermann Jaeger’s life and work.
