Special | 25m 55sVideo has Closed Captions

Folk magazines serve to chronicle and showcased the culture of the Ozarks region.

The recording of culture and heritage of a region is done in several different ways such as books, magazines, and even music. The stories that are told are often called folklore. One way our Ozarks heritage and traditions have been preserved and presented in an entertaining way has been in the pages of folk magazines. Gordon McCann and Kris Sutliff share examples of these types of publications.
