I am the president of the Outdoor Painters of Minnesota.
We were invited and we were a group of painters that were up the North Shore painting for a week, and we decided that it would be a great way to finish off our week of painting was to spend Friday evening painting here at the zoo.
(upbeat music) Somebody was painting a lemur.
I think somebody was trying to paint the bear.
Some of them were sitting still.
Animals were a bit of a departure 'cause usually we paint rocks and trees that don't move around.
The animals are a bit of a challenge.
We have everyone from absolute beginners to your hobbyists, to people who make a living at it.
Beautiful weather and it's a great day and a great place to paint.
