- Well, I used to be a billboard painter, so I really liked realism, the commercial realism, I'm Scott Murphy, painter, up in the Duluth area.

The things that have affected me, like fear for some reason, like tornadoes.

I probably do too many tornadoes, but when I was a little kid, that was another thing I was afraid of.

And I actually did a painting of the two things I didn't like were tornadoes and divorce.

And I just finished another painting with a tornado in it but this time it had just a closeup of a turtle on the road.

The title of the painting was "The Storm Chaser".

I do like storytelling.

That's what I'm kind of angling for.

I think I have to just keep finding the things that are interesting to me is kind of like hitting gold or something, when something works.

There's a little bit of an addiction thing there, when something, "oh, I really like this, This is kind of cool", And then, but they're fleeting, you know?

And then when you're done with the painting, it's like, well, okay, that's done.

So onto the next one.
