Tyler Ballon interprets Biblical stories through paintings grounded in everyday life.

Jersey City native Tyler Ballon, a recent art school graduate, is now back home and already making a name for himself. A residency at Mana Contemporary gave him space to create his large realistic paintings focused on interpreting Biblical themes with images grounded in African American life in Jersey City today.
