Hi, I'm Paul Peltier, I'm the executive director of Rams, the Range Association of Municipalities and Schools, and it's a conglomeration of municipal organizations, 27 cities, 27 townships and 15 school districts, all within this geographic area of the Iron Range.

We are local community governments and school districts that work together for the benefit of the entire region.

So one of the primary functions of RAMS is to provide an opportunity for our local units of government in our communities to work together to make things better for our region.

And that can take many forms, from proposing laws to having legislative priorities, but mostly from within working together with each other to kind of de-silo our communiti Because the era of partnerships is here and the era of alone is over.

Yeah.

So instead of working separately on things that may or may not affect us all, working together we decide that we want to work on things that affect truly, each and every one of us, so that when an issue comes up, we realize that we're not just doing it alone, that, something that affects the city of Hibbing, also affecting the city of Virginia or Grand Rapids or Aiken or Ely or Silver Bay, we can share those common strategies so that we can benefit each other.
