For his debut album, "151a," Kishi Bashi relied on improvisation and loop pedals, which allowed him to produce a variety of sounds all on his own. Here he discusses his creative process, and how he learned to let go of ideas of perfection and to experiment with different styles and techniques. Here he describes his guiding philosophy for the record and how he learned to let go.
