(upbeat music) - PBS Utah and the Leonardo Museum are hosting "Da Vinci, Drinks, and Discoveries", a 20+ event with interactive exhibits immersed in the genius of Leonardo da Vinci.
Melissa Lind and Justin Anderson are here to tell us about it.
Hi, both of you.
Very welcome.
And why don't we start with you, Melissa, our PBS Utah rep.
So, I know there's a new Ken Burns documentary coming about Leonardo.
Why don't you talk a little about that and your brilliant idea to partner.
- Yeah, so we've got a new Ken Burns documentary coming out in mid-late November, all about the life and legacy of Leonardo da Vinci.
We wanted to engage with the public, and so we've been doing a few activities throughout the fall, which all kind of culminate in this last large event that's gonna be going on with, of course, the Leonardo, the most likely source of partnership.
Right?
So, we're really excited about this event and that's why we're on here to talk about it.
- That's great.
It's gonna be a good one.
And, Justin, from the Leonardo Museum, incredible museum you have, why don't you talk about what you'll be offering there?
I know you've got the interactive thing, so tell us about some of those and-- - Sure.
Well, we're really excited.
I mean, this just seemed like such a natural partnership.
The Leonardo is of course named for Da Vinci, and so we just, we're a natural venue for this type of thing.
And we're really excited to partner with PBS Utah.
We're gonna have all kinds of different interactive stations throughout the museum where people can come in and do different activities, hopefully learn a little bit, explore, pique their interest so that they can learn even after they leave, and, you know, enjoy a good time and have a few drinks.
- I know that sounds, I think you're gonna get a lot of people coming to this.
It's really a fun way to engage people in this incredible scientist.
Yeah.
So, I think we better let people know they have to be over 21 to go because of the drinks in your title.
- Correct.
- Okay.
Well thank you both for being here and thanks for doing the event.
Thanks.
- Thank you.
- And if you'd like to know more about that upcoming event with PBS Utah and the Leonardo Museum "Da Vinci, Drinks and Discoveries", it's November 7th from seven to nine at the Leonardo.
