Here with more details about the upcoming season, hosts, Danor Gerald and Lonzo Liggins.
Hi gentlemen, welcome.
- Mary, it's always a pleasure.
Good to see you again.
- You look fabulous in that dress, by the way.
- Thank you!
- We both love coming.
- Thank you.
Let's start with you, Danor.
What are you looking forward to this season?
- Wow, we're looking forward to a new time when more people are available.
They're not stuck in a commute, and we also look forward to building on the foundation we had.
We got an Emmy nomination.
- Bravo!
- Which is amazing.
And we wanna take that ball and just keep running with it.
- Yes, ma'am.
- That's wonderful.
Okay, Lonzo, talk about some of the episodes we'll look at to see.
- Well, we've got some fun ones this season, and two of the ones I'm working on is called, "Race and the Standards of Beauty".
So we're gonna be talking about standards of beauty in Utah which was at one point termed the vainest city in America.
We're gonna speak about that on the show.
We also have a show called, well, it's about diversity, equity, and inclusion, how it's sort of been vilified over this past little while here at universities, at schools.
And we're gonna discuss how it affects people here in Utah.
- [Mary] Very timely, very timely.
- Very timely.
- And Danor, your episode.
- Yes, I'm working on an episode about the confidence that Black and people of color have in the medical industry, how that's not really as high as people think it should be, and what we can do about that to help build that confidence.
And then another episode is about jazz in Utah, but not the team!
- Not the team.
- The music.
- The music.
The beauty of Utah jazz.
- Wonderful.
- Great guests on that show, by the way.
So some fun ones that are gonna be amazing.
- Some legends.
- Great, well, I can't wait to see your season and thanks so much for being here.
Thanks.
- Thank you.
