♪ [snappy music] ♪ Growing up in Columbia, owner Folami Jeter, had few options looking for a place to eat, spurring her father to open Columbia's first vegan restaurant Lamb's Bread Vegan Cafe.
Continuing the tradition, Jeter purchased the restaurant from her father, transforming it into A Peace of Soul with a rotating daily menu of vegan soul food including locally grown collards and crispy fried "chicken" sandwiches.
With both personal health and environmental benefits, plant-based eating is on the rise across the nation.
But, lucky enough at this South Carolina vegan eatery you don't have to give up your barbecue or mac'n'cheese with their menu full of southern classics.
