Pfizer says COVID-19 vaccine for 5-11 year old kids is safe

Pfizer/BioNTech will ask the FDA for Emergency Use Authorization "as soon as possible."

Nine-year-old Justin Do got two shots this summer — as one of 70 kids who took part in Pfizer’s apparently successful COVID vaccine trial for five-to-11 year old at Rutgers. On Monday, Pfizer/BioNTech announced, results suggest “…the vaccine was safe, well tolerated and showed robust neutralizing antibody responses."
