Portraits of Camden residents by Erik James Montgomery are on display in the city

Erik James Montgomery, a Camden photographer, is hoping to shed a positive light on the city that he has called home since 1999. His project, “Camden is… Bright Not Blight,” consists of black-and-white portraits of residents that are displayed throughout the city. It’s Montgomery’s way of highlighting all the good in Camden instead of focusing on negative statements about the city.
