Just like, little bunnies.
I did not know that Wolf pups had blue eyes.
And so when I saw those blue eyes, I really thought.
Oh, my light is making their eyes look blue.
And when I pop my head out for some air, he said, no they're naturally have blue eyes.
And then they grow out of that.
All the Wolf pups' eyes are blue, (laughing) and that was really cool.
To be able to see that.
The only chance you get to see pups, is when you're out driving around the northern roads and you may see a couple of them dart across the road.
So for this, to be able to actually go to den sites, and see wild wolves.
That was pretty exciting.
(camera shattering) Man, their protocol with working quickly with these animals in and out was really pretty amazing.
So it was a real treat.
I was so thrilled when Mike sent me the critter cam photo of the nine pups.
All basically grown up at night you just see 'em glowing, their eyes are glowing.
And I was so excited to see that there was no mortalities.
