>> THE POLICE MADE A $10,000 CONTRIBUTION TO JULIAN PEREZ'S CAMPAIGN TO USE THAT MONEY TO SEND THE FLYERS SHOWCASING THE ARREST RECORDS OF JESSICA BACK TO 2008 AND 2009 WHEN SHE WAS 17 AND 18 YEARS OLD.
IN 2010, SHE WAS ARRESTED ON A WARRANT AND CHARGED WITH VIOLATIONS, INCLUDING DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE, WITHOUT INSURANCE.

>> SO FAR THEY HAVE SPENT MORE THAN $120,000.
MOST OF THAT REPORTED TODAY, FRIDAY.
THAT MEANS THEY ARE MAKING REAL PLACE TO LET THEIR SUPPORTERS TO CITY COUNCIL, WHICH HAVE BEEN SOMEWHAT HOSTILE TO THEIR DEMANDS.
>> HAVE THE CONTRIBUTED MONEY TO THE CAMPAIGN?
>> THIS IS INTERESTING BECAUSE PAUL VALLAS WAS THEIR LAWYER WHEN THEY RENEGOTIATED THEIR POLICING IN CONTRACT.
IT HAS NOT TRANSLATED INTO THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT, BUT DALLAS IS NOT HURTING FOR MONEY AT THIS POINT.
MAYBE THEY FEEL THEIR MONEY IS BETTER SPENT ON THE CITY COUNCIL.
