The CDC's new mask-wearing guidance reignites political arguments
The latest guidance from the CDC is to mask up in areas with a high or substantial risk of coronavirus transmission. In New Jersey, 20 of the 21 counties fall into that category due to their high transmission rates. While the CDC’s reversal has led to confusion for the public, it’s also creating political pressure for NJ's Gov. Phil Murphy in an election year.
