Pollsters try and learn from polling errors that happened in 2016 election.

Not all polls are created equal. The best polls try to measure what the electorate looks like, who's turned out in past elections, who uses landlines. And polls are always criticized for undercounting or overcounting certain ethnic, age and genders.
