‘A long way to go’ before NJ’s recreational marijuana market matures
Garden State Dispensary on Wednesday opened three locations in central Jersey for the sale of nonmedical marijuana. The dispensaries in Eatontown, Woodbridge and Union already were selling medical marijuana. Rob Mejia, adjunct professor in cannabis studies at Stockton University, said, “We definitely need it; there is pent-up demand … And we have a long way to go before our market matures.”
