Let's explore.
Poulsbo is famous for Front Street and its beautiful decor.
The bakery is legendary.
But you're not going to believe what you can find off of Front Street.
Let's go explore.
Just a step off of Front Street is the Marina Market, where they've got more liquorice in one place than you probably ever seen.
Over 1000 kinds when they're fully stocked.
I hear it goes great with pickled herring.
We're here at The Sip.
a pour your own taproom and lounge.
This little corner was built for Instagram, but I'm talking to Brooke here, and she's going to tell me what the entire place was .. We built The Sip for our entire family.
So we have 36 self-serve taps of everything you can imagine.
Beer, wine, cold brew coffee, nonalcoholic beverages and ciders.
My husband and I have two kids, and we created the taproom as a family friendly space with shuffleboard, pinball, arcade.
And then we also have an adults only lounge, because sometimes we want to go out without our kids.
And we have a full food menu and fun for everyone.
Awesome.
Can we do some tasting?
Yeah, I'd love to.
Let’s do it.
Let’s go!
With 36 taps, the hardest part is deciding what you want to taste.
I think I'm going to try this Western Red Brewing beer.
First, tap your card.
And then you pour.
And then you taste.
Very good.
And definitely worth further exploration.
Let's go.
We're here now at Western Red Brewing.
So most breweries, they serve their customers, they serve beer, But this brewery, they serve the community.
Marianna, can you tell me in which ways do you guys serve this larger Poulsbo community?
Yeah, we've worked really hard at building a calendar of events for every day of the week.
We have knit nights, we have trivia.
We have cribbage.
We host rotary groups.
We host the Lions Club.
We have live music.
We have line dancing lessons.
There's just something for everybody.
Awesome.
And what is your most popular beer?
Our most popular beer is our Little Tugger Lager.
It's an American lager style that has won the gold medal in Washington State the last two years in a row.
Wow.
So, can we try it?
Absolutely.
I can tell you firsthand the beer is great.
Actually, I can tell you second hand.
Cheers.
Every good production needs a wrap party.
We're ending our shoot in Kitsap here at The Loft.
Sharing a meal with friends and celebrating everything this community has to offer.
