Thanks for joining me here on Prairie Musicians.
I'm excited to perform some of my country blues originals for you.
Music means so many different things to so many different people.
To me it's especially important because I do therapeutic music for hospice patients, and what music can give to them is something that medicine sometimes can't.
You can trigger memories with these patients that they didn't even know were there.
Before you know it, tears are flowing, and it's not just from them, and it's oftentimes from me.
So it's a 2-way street because I'm giving them music and in return they're giving me emotions.
so music is very unique in that way, and that is why I love my job doing therapeutic music for hospice patients.
